Saturday...

So the day went well...

Bri, Kaleigh, Chandler and I went over to Mom & Dad's around 10:00 and I made scrambled eggs for the girls. David (brother) & Sarah went to check into their hotel (another post to come) while I played with my niece and nephews.

Mom and I decided to take all five kids for a walk. I thought this should be a piece of cake since I have six kids of my own. Boy was I wrong. They decided at the last minute instead of walking they prefered to ride bikes and Davey wanted to ride his scooter thingy. So off we went with Chandler in one stroller and Tommy in another. By the time we got to the end of the subdivision Bri decided she would rather push Chan which meant only one thing...I was left with a bike. Have you ever seen me tried to ride a bike? It's a sight I can assure you! I did make it back safely just in case any of you were wondering.

After we returned David & Sarah tried to get some sleep since they had driven all night. I took Chandler and put him down for a nap and went to do some coupon printing from one of my favorite blogs Money Saving Mom and by the time I did that and played around on the computer everyone was awake.

My own mother then got the wild idea to go to Relleke Farms to enjoy some fun with the kids. Why we thought this would be a good idea I will NEVER know. Although it's October it was Hot! Of course I wasn't dressed appropriately for this adventure at all! I was wearing jeans and by the end of the day they were sticking to me...GROSS! Anyway we got there and the kids all immediately wanted to go down the straw slide. So I took some pictures that I will post at a later date when I get my own computer back. Then it was time to go through the corn maze and the big slide. I think it's important to mention that tickets were $.50 a piece, there were four kids, and each thing was at least two tickets some things were fourteen tickets.

Have you guys ever seen those trampoline jumps with the belts that are attached to bungee cords??? Well this is what took fourteen tickets a piece...So mom goes off to buy more tickets while we head over to the jump. Briana's up first and she jumps and jumps and braves a flip...Three minutes later her turn is over and it's Rebekah's turn. The strap her in and get her going. While she is jumping the power goes out. One would think this wouldn't be such a big problem right???? Well wrong. Remember these things are attached to bungee cords. The had to jump up and pull Rebekah down while one lady undid the belt and got her to safety then they had to let go of the belt which then took off like a freakin' rocket. I swear it could have taken someone's head off. So that left two kids sad because they didn't get to do it. Luckily they gave them their tickets back and off we went to the haunted barn...sadly the power was out there too. Evidently power was out to the whold dang place. So we headed out. On the way out the girls did some sand art.

Once we got home Dad went to the store while mom and I got the kids cleaned up. While Bri and KK got showered I made some jello for desert. Dad finally arrived back with groceries and mom and I got to making dinner. Not that there was that much to do. We seasoned steaks, put potatos in the oven and made a salad.

When everyone got back we all sat down to dinner and I got yelled at for saying ass. Who gets yelled at for this stuff? LOL

I was tired so I head home with the girls and Chandler just looking forward to tomorrow's family heyride.
